Finance Manager - Southampton

As a Finance Manager in Southampton, you'll take charge of the day-to-day financial operations within the professional services industry, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Description

  • Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports and statements for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Implement and improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency.

Profile

A Successful Finance Manager Should Have

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Job Offer

  • Salary between £60,000 and £70,000, dependent on the level of experience.
