Finance Manager
Dudley | £50,000 | Office-Based
The Opportunity
A high-growth, private equity-backed business is seeking a Finance Manager to join its expanding finance team based in Dudley. Following significant investment, the group has experienced rapid growth through a combination of organic expansion and acquisitions, creating an exciting opportunity for an ambitious qualified accountant to play a key role in the next stage of the journey.
This is a broad role offering exposure to financial reporting, cashflow management, acquisitions, systems improvements and commercial performance analysis within a fast-paced and evolving environment.
The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the month-end close process across multiple group entities
- Preparing and analysing financial performance reports for senior stakeholders
- Leading weekly cashflow reporting and forecasting activities
- Supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses into the group finance function
- Improving finance processes, controls and reporting accuracy across the group
- Working closely with operational teams to ensure timely and accurate financial information
- Supporting business improvement projects, including systems, automation and ERP initiatives
- Assisting in the development of a robust financial control environment to support continued growth

About You
We are looking to speak with candidates who are:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Newly qualified to around 3 years PQE
- Experienced in month-end reporting and financial controls
- Strong communicators who can build relationships across the business
- Technically competent with UK accounting standards
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Strong Excel and finance systems users
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, changing environment
Previous exposure to multi-entity businesses, acquisitions or ERP implementation projects would be advantageous but is not essential.
