We're partnering with a high growth, private equity-backed marketing agency in their search for a Finance Manager.
This is a newly created role, overseeing a high performing team of Management Accountants, and with responsibility for delivering the relevant management information for all UK, US, EMEA and APAC entities.
We’re looking to speak with strong Finance Managers who’ve got experience in the marketing services space and exposure to people management. This is a great opportunity for someone stepping up from a management accounting role or someone already operating at the Finance Manager level. They offer continued development and the chance to keep progressing – this is clearly evidenced with other finance team members.
If you want to be part of business bucking the trend and growing from strength to strength, we’d love to talk.
Senior Finance Manager – Responsibilities

Including review of local pack commentary and assistance with the production of group management commentary for senior stakeholders up to board level
- Review and sign off on key balance sheet reconciliations across all group entities to maintain accounting integrity
- Assist the group treasury analyst with working capital strategy to monitor Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, managing bad debt exposure and optimising cash conversion cycles.
- Review the Management Accountants' individual 13-week rolling cashflow forecast and assist the group treasury analyst with the consolidated view and commentary for the monthly board pack
- Lead the weekly debtor reviews and payment run approvals and act as the escalation point for complex AP, AR, and cash issues.

- Working with the Group FC as a point of escalation and subject expert matter on FRS 102 and revenue recognition principles
- Be the review point and be expected to partner with the group for complex or non-standard revenue recognition matters
- Own UK monthly payroll submissions and pension uploads. Ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees, tax authorities, and third-party benefit providers across all entities

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
