Company Description
The Purple Elephant Project is a children’s mental health charity supporting over 100 children and their families every week across Richmond, Hounslow and beyond. Through therapeutic services including play and art therapy, we help children feel heard, supported and able to thrive.
Role Description
We are looking for an experienced, values driven Finance Manager to join our team in Twickenham. This is an exciting new opportunity to use your finance expertise to help us make a real difference to children and families.
Working closely with our CEO and Trustees, you’ll play a key role in keeping Purple Elephant financially strong, well-run and ready to grow. You’ll take ownership of our day-to-day financial management and use your expertise to help us make good decisions for the future, including:

- Management accounts and financial reporting
- Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management
- Payroll and strong financial controls
- Business partnering and providing clear, useful financial insight
- Developing and improving our systems and processes, including Xero
We’re looking for someone with strong management accounting experience, excellent attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative approach. You’ll be someone who can bring structure and confidence to our finances, while working closely with colleagues and Trustees in a friendly, growing charity.

Charity experience and knowledge of Xero are desirable, but we’re most interested in finding someone who shares our values and wants to use their financial expertise to make a difference.
