We are partnering with an established infrastructure investment manager looking to appoint a Finance Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to join a collaborative, high-performing team with broad exposure across finance, operations, and fund management.
Description
Our client is a specialist investment management firm with a long-standing track record in managing infrastructure assets. They are looking to appoint a Finance Manager to oversee the fund accounting, financial control, and compliance of a number of investment funds and related entities.
Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Fund accounting
- Cash flow management
- Investor reporting
- Distribution calculations
- Working closely with external auditors, advisors, and service providers

The role (which is primarily office-based) will also support the wider finance function by strengthening financial controls, improving processes, and assisting with a range of operational and ad hoc projects.
Skills
The skills and experience required for this Finance Manager role include, but are not limited to:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with at least 5 years of PQE
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience
- Experience in fund accounting, asset management, or investment funds is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to manage relationships with auditors, advisers, and external service providers
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator with the ability to challenge appropriately and work collaboratively
- Proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a broad role with varied responsibilities
- Experience with cash flow management, investor reporting, and financial controls would be beneficial
