Finance Manager Opportunity at Alcester-based SME
About the Role
3 Point Recruitment is hiring a Finance Manager for a profitable, ambitious, and reputable SME based near Alcester. This role is needed ASAP with shortlisting taking place immediately!
Reporting into the SLT, you will be the go-to person within the business for Finance matters and will work closely with the external Accountancy Firm at year-end and during audits. You’ll tighten reporting, control, and give running commentary to the Directors, providing clear insight and reports. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys pace, autonomy, and being close to commercial decision-making.
Key Requirements
The business wants an experienced Finance leader who ideally is formally Qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA). Candidates who are QBE will also be considered if they have the relevant experience.

Duties Will Include
- Lead monthly management accounts with accurate, timely reporting, and clear commentary
- Maintain strong balance sheet control and improve processes across the function
- Partner with operational teams to provide useful insight and commercial support
- Oversee cash flow, working capital, debtors/creditors, and daily financial discipline
- Manage and develop the Finance team, creating clarity, ownership, and high standards
- Support budgeting and forecasting with meaningful variance analysis
- Take responsibility for VAT returns and ensure ledgers, payments, and credit control run smoothly
- Oversee stock, margin, and payroll administration
- Improve systems, reporting, and workflows as the business scales
- Help build a proactive, commercially focused Finance function

Compensation
A salary band of £45,000 to £55,000 is attached plus a 10% bonus based on company performance.
