Finance Manager | PE-Backed Technology | £80,000 + Benefits | London
I’m currently partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed Technology business that is looking to hire a Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance activities for one of its key entities.
This is a newly created role following continued growth across the Group, offering the opportunity to step into a broad, high-visibility position and make a real impact from day one. Working closely with the Financial Controller and finance teams across Europe, you’ll take ownership of the French entity while gaining exposure to European finance, technical accounting, M&A, and wider Group projects.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead the month-end and year-end close for the French entity, working closely with the local finance team
- Own and advise on technical accounting matters and complex transactions
- Assess new accounting standards and ensure relevant changes are implemented
- Partner with FP&A, Operations, and Supply Chain to improve financial insight and decision-making
- Support the accounting treatment of CapEx and wider business projects
- Work closely with the Shared Service Centre to ensure a smooth and accurate finance operation
- Support the integration of acquisitions and wider M&A activity
- Drive process improvements and take ownership of ad-hoc projects across the European finance function

What are they looking for?
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, ideally with 2+ years PQE
- Strong technical accounting and audit experience
- Experience working with European entities and international finance teams
- Commercial mindset with the confidence to challenge and improve existing processes
- Someone ambitious who wants broader exposure and responsibility within a growing PE-backed business
- Comfortable working from Central London 2–3 days per week
