The Role
The Financial Reporting Team at Blackburn College play an important role in the financial management of college, providing a true Business Partnering service to the Budget-holders across college. As Finance Officer you will support the Financial Reporting Manager and Finance Business partners in that important role. You will develop your skills under the supervision of the team.
What we are looking for
We require applicants who are qualified to AAT Level 4 (or are currently working towards) or are educated to at least NVQ Level 4 or have equivalent experience within a finance discipline
You should also have an NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent), including English and Maths. Experience of working with Microsoft office applications, specifically Excel and Word is also essential as is experience of working in a finance environment. You must be able to demonstrate a good understanding and experience of double entry bookkeeping along with experience of completing Reconciliations.
