Description
The Role
As Finance Officer, you'll support the day-to-day running of the finance function, working across both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. You'll ensure financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently while supporting the wider finance team with reconciliations, reporting, and month-end activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing purchase ledger processes and supplier payments
- Maintaining the sales ledger and supporting credit control activities
- Processing invoices and allocating payments
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Completing supplier statement reconciliations
- Investigating and resolving finance-related queries
- Assisting with payment runs and cash management
- Supporting month-end reporting and financial administration
- Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures
Profile
About You
- Previous experience within a Finance Officer, Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant role
- Experience across both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Strong reconciliation and administration skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good Excel and finance systems knowledge
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
