Finance Officer

As a Finance Officer in the transport and distribution industry, you'll handle the day-to-day management of purchase ledger processes and ensure accurate financial records. Based in Cardiff, this permanent role is key to keeping the business running smoothly by managing payments and invoices efficiently.

Description

  • Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate coding to the ledger.
  • Reconcile supplier statements to maintain up-to-date financial records.
  • Assist with payment runs, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Handle purchase ledger queries from suppliers and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate and organised records of all transactions.
  • Support month-end processes by preparing ledger reports.
  • Assist with any ad hoc financial tasks as required.

A Successful Finance Officer Should Have
