About Us
CareYourWay Group Ltd is a leading care organisation supporting vulnerable adults across multiple services and business units.
We are seeking a detail-driven Finance Officer to manage the financial accounts for all companies within the group, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
As our Finance Officer, your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for all group businesses
- Support budget planning, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Manage accounts payable and receivable across the group
- Complete invoicing and ensure timely collection of aged receivables
- Monitor and manage funding streams, including grants, contracts, and service-user contributions
- Work closely with local authorities and funding bodies to ensure transparency and compliance
- Oversee payroll inputs and ensure accurate salary calculations
- Assist with audit preparation and regulatory compliance
- Maintain strong financial controls and documentation
- Prepare client contracts and quotations in line with organisational standards
- Assist with Franchise Partner training in all aspects of finance
- Support operational teams with financial insights and cash-flow monitoring
- Any other relevant tasks as required by the business

Essential Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with proven experience in financial management
- Strong knowledge of care sector funding and financial regulations
- Demonstrated understanding of the needs of vulnerable adults and the ethical considerations involved
- Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
- Proficient in financial software (Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite

Desirable Criteria
- Experience working within the care sector or a similar non-profit/social enterprise environment
- Understanding of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and local authority requirements
