Hiring: Finance Officer (Remote)
CURA HOMECARE, Hever Care, and Roberts Care & Training Ltd are UK home care and housing support providers. We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to take day-to-day ownership of our finance function — bookkeeping, invoicing, credit control, supplier payments, and payroll preparation.
📍 Location: Remote
🕘 Hours: UK business hours, Monday to Friday
🤝 Engagement: Independent contractor
💼 Compensation: Commensurate with experience – to be discussed at interview stage
📝 What you'll own:
- Keeping Xero current — coding, reconciliations, investigating unmatched items
- Invoicing four Scottish Health & Social Care Partnerships plus Self-Directed Support and private clients
- Credit control and aged-debt management
- Supplier payment runs, prepared for director approval
- Payroll data preparation, checks, and reconciliation
- Monthly management information and cashflow reporting

🎯 What we're looking for:
- Practical bookkeeping experience on a cloud accounting system (Xero strongly preferred)
- Bank reconciliation, sales invoicing, and credit control experience
- Experience supporting a payroll process
- Strong Excel and excellent written and spoken English
- A reliable home workspace with backup power and internet
- Willingness to be engaged as an independent contractor with Pakistani tax registration

👉 Desirable:
- ACCA or AAT (part-qualified or qualified)
- Experience with UK or overseas clients
- Experience across more than one legal entity
- Health or social care experience
- Cashflow forecasting experience
