Can you create an income and expenditure spreadsheet to help our small nonprofit event team

100% Remote Working for our anniversary event for 100 delegates

What difference will you make?

This role supports Think Tenacity Events and Free Therapy Team to continue providing FREE counselling and mental health support for our members from the Black community.

This volunteering role will help our nonprofit organisation develop free entry events for 2026 to drive future success for the organisation to educate and raise awareness of Black mental health issues in the community.

What are we looking for?

Skills / Experience

  • Minimum three years in a similar Financial role.
  • Experience maintaining financial trackers and project records.
  • Ability to monitor income and expenditure accurately.
  • Experience comparing budgets against actual expenditure.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • High organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • High written and verbal communication
  • Ability to stay calm working under pressure
  • Flexible and solution focused when managing deadlines
  • Must have proactive approach to share new ideas
  • Self-motivated to work independently and remotely but can adapt to be a team player
  • Ability to use WhatsApp for event team communications

We are looking for an experienced Finance professional to work remotely take responsibility for Income and expenditure weekly tracking / Event Budget Monitoring of Think Tenacity Academy Anniversary Event for 100 people

Main Responsibilities

  • Create income and expenditure spreadsheet

    • Event sponsorship spreadsheet for event income and expenditure
    • Ensure project information is kept accurate and up to date.
    • Track each event sponsorship from initial engagement through to confirmation, invoicing, payment and completion.
    • Identify financial overdue actions, risks and issues and escalate them to the CEO and Senior Project Manager.
    • Provide clear financial weekly reports updates the CEO and Senior Management Team

  • Create process and templates for Event Sponsorship Stakeholder Communications and follow-ups

    • You will take responsibility for maintaining professional written communication with event sponsorship clients.
    • Sending invoice emails.
    • Sending deadline invoice reminders.
    • Maintaining a clear written record of event sponsorship clients

Are you highly deadline orientated person with minimum 3 years experience in private or public sector? Expected start date First Week In September 2026 (100% Remote Working) using Google Drive and WhatsApp
