Shettleston is a community-based housing association, and a Scottish Charity, which has played a major role in the regeneration of the local area for 50 years.
Role Description
An opportunity has arisen to join Shettleston Housing Association as Finance Officer, following the retirement of the current postholder. We are seeking an organised and experienced finance professional with strong financial management, customer service, and communication skills. In this role, you will help deliver an effective and responsive finance service, supporting accurate financial administration, reporting, compliance, and day-to-day financial processes across all group companies.

Qualifications
- Minimum of HND in Accounting or equivalent with significant relevant work experience.
- Preferable CCAB qualified with 3 years post qualification experience (desirable)
- Experience of succeeding in a finance role with a wide range of tasks and responsibilities.
- Experience of effective team working in a busy office environment.
- Experience of working to tight deadlines in a regulated environment.
- Experience of preparing reports for Senior Management, Boards, and Committees (desirable)
- Experience of working in social housing sector or similar (desirable)
