The Role
The position of Finance Officer will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the finance function, supporting the organisation across a broad range of transactional finance activities while ensuring accurate financial records and strong financial controls.

The key components of the role include:
- Ownership of the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment runs, purchase order creation and matching.
- Ownership of the accounts receivable process, including invoice allocation, cash allocation and debt escalation.
- Daily processing and management of financial transactions.
- Supplier statement management and reconciliations.
- Bank account management and reconciliations.
- Credit control through telephone, email and written correspondence.
- Supporting and improving finance processes, procedures, controls and systems.
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Candidate Profile
We are keen to engage candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience within a finance role covering both accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Non-profit sector experience is desirable but not essential.
- Strong reconciliation and credit control experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience using a variety of finance systems.
- A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently while contributing as part of a collaborative finance team.
