Finance Operations & Audit Support Evaluator

Position: Finance Operations & Audit Support Evaluator

Type: Freelance Hourly Contract

Compensation: $80–$120/hour

Location: Remote

About the Opportunity

This opportunity is for experienced Finance Operations and Audit Support professionals interested in contributing to advanced AI research and evaluation projects involving financial documentation, reporting, audit workflows, and business analysis.

The role focuses on evaluating AI-generated work products, including documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and financial analyses, while applying professional judgment to assess accuracy, quality, completeness, and presentation standards.

You'll leverage your expertise in finance operations, audit support, reporting processes, documentation review, and stakeholder communication to help improve the capabilities of next-generation AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate AI-generated financial documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and operational reports for accuracy and quality.
  • Assess outputs using domain-specific evaluation criteria and professional finance standards.
  • Identify factual inaccuracies, calculation errors, formatting issues, and presentation weaknesses.
  • Review financial analyses, audit-support materials, and operational documentation for completeness and clarity.
  • Provide detailed written feedback and scoring based on established evaluation guidelines.
  • Assess the quality of visual communication, business storytelling, and presentation effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality finance evaluation benchmarks and training datasets.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Finance Operations, Audit Support, Financial Reporting, Accounting Operations, Internal Audit, External Audit, or a related finance function.
  • Professional fluency in English with strong written communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, particularly PowerPoint/Google Slides, Excel, and financial documentation tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, and quality issues.
  • Ability to evaluate both financial accuracy and business presentation quality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher from a reputable institution.
  • Experience preparing executive presentations, audit documentation, financial reports, or operational analyses.
  • Background in corporate finance, accounting, audit, risk, compliance, or business operations.
  • Familiarity with AI-generated business content and evaluation methodologies.
  • Experience reviewing complex financial deliverables and stakeholder-facing materials.
