Overview

We are hiring a Finance Operations Executive to join the APX team and play an important role in supporting the delivery of Traditional Media and Digital campaigns. Sitting at the centre of Finance, Operations and Digital Strategy, you'll help ensure campaigns are accurately set up, billed, reconciled and closed while maintaining strong financial controls throughout. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your knowledge of media finance operations, work closely with a wide range of stakeholders and make a tangible contribution to the success of the APX team.

Responsibilities

  • Support the financial set-up and administration of Traditional Media and Digital campaigns in partnership with APX Operations and APX Digital Strategy.
  • Create and maintain campaign records, products, suppliers, clients and other master data, ensuring information is accurate and aligned with agreed controls.
  • Review campaign information across systems and trackers, resolving inconsistencies before billing and payment activities progress.
  • Raise purchase orders and coordinate billing instructions to ensure deadlines are met and financial processes run smoothly.
  • Manage invoice processing activities and help resolve supplier, billing and payment queries with clear communication and ownership.
  • Reconcile purchase orders, invoices, billings and costs, identifying and correcting discrepancies while maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintain campaign trackers, support month-end activities and contribute to a strong audit trail through effective documentation and controls.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Application Process

Once you've submitted your application, you will be emailed a link and asked to complete an online assessment task. This email will come from our partner Arctic Shores. You will need to complete the assessment within 3 days of submitting your application.

If successful at the application and online assessment task stage, you will then have a screening call with a recruiter from the Publicis team.

The final stage will be an in-person interview.

🌟 What to Expect from the Arctic Shores Assessment

As part of our selection process, we use an Arctic Shores game-based assessment to help us understand your natural strengths in a fair, engaging way. This isn’t a quiz about what you know, it’s about showing how you think, behave and solve problems in real time.

What it is

A series of interactive tasks (games) designed to measure problem-solving, decision-making, adaptability, focus and other work-relevant behaviours.

You won’t see typical questions, instead, you’ll play activities that look and feel like simple games.

How it works

  • You’ll receive an email with a link and simple instructions.
  • Before the official assessment you can try a practice task so you’re confident with the format.
  • The assessment usually has around 7-9 tasks and should take about the same time as a standard online test.

Tips to succeed

  • Choose a quiet, distraction-free space with a reliable device.
  • Read the instructions carefully before starting each activity.
  • Be yourself - Arctic Shores is designed to capture how you naturally approach challenges, not what you think is the “right” answer.

After you finish

Candidates receive a personalised feedback report that explains what your responses suggest about your strengths - valuable insight whether you join us or not.

There are no right or wrong answers - your results simply help us understand where you’ll thrive. Approach it with confidence and focus on performing consistently throughout each task.
