As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Finance Operations Manager to join our EMEA accounting team based in our Leeds offices (Hybrid 3 days a week).
About The Role
Finance Operations Manager plays a key role within the EMEA Accounting team, supporting the delivery of efficient and effective finance operations across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Deductions.
Working closely with leaders across Finance and the wider business, you will help drive operational performance, support continuous process improvement and ensure strong financial controls. You'll use data and collaboration to identify opportunities for improvement while helping the team deliver consistent, scalable processes that support the continued growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Operations
- Support the day-to-day effectiveness of finance operations across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Deductions.
- Help ensure operational accuracy, timely month-end close activities and compliance with internal SOX controls.
- Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and service delivery.
- Support resolution of operational issues by working closely with internal stakeholders and shared service teams.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Build strong working relationships across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain and Commercial teams.
- Partner with managers across the business to deliver operational improvements and resolve cross-functional challenges.
- Support the Finance Director and senior leadership team with operational reporting and initiatives as required.
- Share best practice and contribute to consistent ways of working across the EMEA region.
KPI & Performance Management
- Monitor and report on key operational KPIs and Voice of the Customer (VOC) metrics.
- Analyse trends and performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support action plans to improve service levels, operational efficiency and customer experience.
Process Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on standardisation, automation and operational excellence.
- Work with Finance Systems and Technology teams to support ERP enhancements and system improvements.
- Support implementation of new processes and ensure effective adoption across teams.
Governance & Controls
- Ensure finance operations comply with internal controls, SOX requirements and company policies.
- Support internal and external audit activities, including preparation of documentation and responses to audit requests.
- Help identify control gaps and implement improvements to strengthen governance.
Experience & Background
- 5–8 years' experience within finance operations, accounting or shared services.
- Experience working across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or related finance processes.
- Demonstrated experience improving operational processes and driving efficiency.
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday or similar.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Finance, IT and operational teams.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Good understanding of finance operations and financial controls.
- Analytical approach with the ability to interpret performance data and recommend improvements.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Advanced Excel skills, with Power BI experience beneficial.

Education & Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience.
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or studying towards qualification is desirable.
