About us
Setteo Ltd is the technology company behind Oystr, building a proprietary superapp platform across sport (Movn), health research (Medikka) and municipal services (Civikka), alongside a growing corporate superapp business serving major international brands. We're a lean, fast-moving team, and this is a genuinely foundational hire.
The role
This is a newly created role and the company's first dedicated finance hire. You'll take ownership of Setteo's internal finance function, management reporting and financial controls, working closely with the company's external accountants on statutory accounting, tax and compliance matters. You'll have real scope to shape how the finance function works as we scale, and alongside this, you'll support broader operational coordination with the administration team.
What you'll do
- Own day-to-day financial accounting and monthly management reporting across the group's brands
- Design and implement internal financial controls, policies and approval processes
- Manage treasury, cash flow and the annual budgeting cycle, partnering with department heads across the business
- Prepare financial forecasts, management analysis and performance reports to support the CEO and Board in strategic and commercial decision-making
- Analyse financial performance across the group's brands and projects, including revenue, costs, margins and project profitability, identifying financial risks and areas for improvement
- Oversee payroll processing and act as the main point of contact for payroll queries
- Coordinate the year-end statutory accounts process with our external accountants and auditors, providing the underlying financial data and analysis
- Liaise with our external accountants on VAT returns and other routine tax filings
- Support cross-functional operational priorities as the company grows, working closely with the administration team

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
