Finance | Purchasing | Job Costing | Commercial Operations | Manufacturing

Ready to move your career forwards with a fast-growing bespoke furniture manufacturing company rated no.1 in it’s class?

Parker Howley & Co is a fast-growing Yorkshire manufacturer creating high-end bespoke furniture from our workshop in Mirfield.

We've grown from around £1m to £3.5m turnover in just four years, supplying beautiful made-to-order furniture to private clients, interior designers and high-end developers.

Now we're looking for a commercially sharp, hands-on Finance & Operations Manager to work directly with the owners and strengthen the financial and operational engine behind our next stage of growth.

This isn't a role where you'll simply report the numbers. You'll understand what every job really costs, where margin is being made or lost, what we're spending with suppliers and where the business can operate smarter.

For the right person, there's genuine scope to progress towards Director level and potentially own a stake in the business.

The Role at a Glance

Finance & Operations Manager

Mirfield, West Yorkshire - Hybrid 4 Days Onsite / 1 Day WFH

£40,000 - Rising to £45,000 after probation

Full Time | Permanent

40 Hours Per Week | Flexible Working Hours: 7am–6pm Mon–Thu, 7am–4pm Fri

Finance: Management Accounts | Cash Flow | Budgets | Payroll | VAT | Job Costing

Commercial: Purchasing | Suppliers | Pricing | Margin | Stock

Progression: Director-Level Potential | EMI Share Scheme Opportunity

Please note: Applicants must already have the unrestricted right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship or consider candidates working under time-limited visas for this position.

Own the Numbers. Understand the Operation. Help Us Grow.

You'll take ownership of our day-to-day finance while getting close enough to the operation to understand what's really driving performance.

From management accounts, cash flow and payroll through to job costing, purchasing, margins and suppliers, you'll give the owners clear visibility of the numbers that matter and help turn them into better commercial decisions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
