VNI Finance is delighted to continue our exclusive partnership with our key global, private equity-backed client in Glasgow to recruit a newly created Finance Operations Manager.
This role will oversee the effective delivery of multi-country Finance and Procurement shared services, managing the relationship between regional finance teams and a third-party BPO provider.
This would suit a qualified/part-qualified professional who has previously operated in a large-scale, International environment in an Ops Finance capacity or shared service centre environment.
With the growth trajectory of our client, this presents a fantastic career move, with great stakeholder exposure across the business.

Role Overview:
- Monitor day-to-day operational effectiveness of distributed regional transactional finance operations through regular engagement, reporting and participation in local forums.
- Manage issues and escalations to strengthen collaboration between local retained finance teams and the BPO provider, improving end-to-end transactional finance performance.
- Monitor BPO IT controls and training compliance to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks to Aggreko.
- Use BPO service performance data to identify potential issues and take preventative action where necessary.
- Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are communicated and consistently adhered to.
- Ensure service management tools are used effectively to log, track, and resolve issues.

Candidate Background:

- Operated in a Multinational/International Environment
- Strong Operational Experience
- Good Stakeholder Management Experience
Package:
- £65,000-£75,000
- Hybrid 2 days per week out of the City Centre office in Glasgow
- Attractive Bonus & Pension
