We are looking for a Finance Operations & Projects Coordinator to join our Global Finance team and provide operational, administrative and project coordination support to the Global Finance Director and wider Finance and Governance functions.
Please note: this is a global Hillsong role and the successful candidate can be based either in the United Kingdom or Australia.
The role will work closely with teams and leaders across multiple regions, supporting global priorities and helping ensure our Finance and Governance functions operate with excellence, consistency and effectiveness.

About the Role
This role sits at the centre of the Global Finance team’s day-to-day operations, acting as an operational hub to support planning, projects, governance activities, systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will help coordinate strategic projects, streamline processes, improve digital ways of working, maintain organised information systems and ensure teams have the tools and support needed to deliver their priorities effectively.
As this is a global position, some flexibility to work across international time zones will be required to support collaboration with colleagues across different regions.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Operations & Business Support
- Coordinate annual planning activities, operational calendars, reporting timetables and team workplans.
- Maintain operational records, templates, process documentation and central information repositories.
- Coordinate team meetings, planning sessions, workshops and operational activities.
- Support onboarding, purchasing, expenses and other day-to-day administrative processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes and operational effectiveness.

Project Coordination & Continuous Improvement
- Coordinate strategic projects and organisational initiatives across Finance, Governance and Legal functions.
- Develop and maintain project plans, action registers, timelines and delivery trackers.
- Monitor milestones, follow up outstanding actions and support leaders to maintain progress.
- Prepare project updates, briefing papers and status reports for key stakeholders.
- Support finance transformation, process improvement and implementation of new systems, policies and ways of working.
Governance, Compliance & Knowledge Management
- Coordinate governance papers, policy reviews and supporting documentation.
- Maintain governance records, compliance trackers, policy registers and document libraries.
- Support audit activities and monitor actions arising from governance and compliance reviews.
- Ensure information is accurate, current, organised and accessible through effective document management practices.
Executive Support
- Provide executive support to the Global Finance Director, including calendar management, travel coordination, meeting preparation and correspondence.
- Prepare presentations, reports, governance papers and meeting minutes.
- Coordinate document approvals, maintain action registers and ensure timely follow-up of key actions.
- Handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion and sound judgement.

Digital Systems & Team Coordination
- Support collaboration platforms including Asana, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and similar systems.
- Maintain digital workspaces, filing structures and information management processes.
- Coordinate user access, routine systems administration and improvements to digital ways of working.
- Encourage consistent use of project management and collaboration tools across the global team.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
Education & Experience
- 3–5 years’ experience in finance operations, administration, executive support, project coordination or a similar business support role.
- Experience supporting senior leaders within a global organisation is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written communication and document preparation skills.
- High proficiency using Microsoft Office and collaboration tools such as Asana, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Willingness and flexibility to work across international time zones.
