Finance Ops Programme Manager
A client in the education technology industry is seeking a Finance Ops Programme Manager to join the team for an initial 2-3 month engagement.
You will lead a business-critical initiative focused on resolving a significant aged debt challenge and improving end-to-end debt management processes. Reporting into senior leadership, you will assess, segment and prioritise an aged debtor portfolio, working cross-functionally to drive resolution and implement sustainable operational improvements.
Responsibilities
- Analyse and segment a substantial aged debt portfolio, identifying root causes and recommending appropriate resolution strategies
- Partner with Finance and Credit Control teams to implement escalation frameworks, prioritisation models and debt recovery actions
- Work with Customer Operations teams to improve customer communications, issue resolution processes and prevention of future aged debt
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including executive leadership and technology teams, to support decisions on write-offs, credits, refunds and process improvements

Requirements
- Proven experience delivering complex transformation or remediation programmes within finance operations or order-to-cash environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess commercial trade-offs and make pragmatic recommendations
- Solid understanding of accounts receivable, credit control, billing and debt management processes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience presenting recommendations to senior executives

- Day rate: £500 - £600 LTD
