Finance - Payroll Administrator
Location: Luton
Full-time 37.5 hours per week
Hybrid - 4 days per week working onsite – 1 day working from home

What you will be doing
- Support the successful delivery of a large monthly payroll for a secure account
- Process payroll/finance related data accurately and on time, ensuring a high standard of quality and control
- Handle worker, supplier and client queries relating to payroll, onboarding and compliance
- Carry out right to work and new starter compliance activity, onboarding and offboarding tasks
- Maintain records and update relevant systems, including payroll and vendor management processes
- Provide support across invoicing, self-billing, purchase order updates and credit control activity
- Work closely with the wider payroll and compliance team to maintain continuity and reduce operational risk
- Contribute ideas to improve processes, strengthen controls and enhance the way the team works

What we are looking for
We would love to hear from candidates who bring strong payroll/finance experience, along with the confidence to take ownership of important processes in a fast-paced and highly accountable environment.
- Experience working with payroll/finance data and time-sensitive processing activity
- Strong attention to detail and confidence working with sensitive information
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle queries professionally and clearly
- Good Excel and systems capability
- Understanding of compliance processes such as right to work, onboarding and worker documentation
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the confidence to take responsibility and support others
- Previous experience in a regulated, secure or process-driven environment would be advantageous
