Finance & Payroll Officer
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days per week in London)
Hours: 37 hours per week (part-time considered)
Salary: £35,000 (negotiable, dependent on experience)
Are you an experienced finance and payroll professional looking for a varied role where you can make a real difference? Join the Royal Society for Blind Children (RSBC) and help support our mission to give blind young people the skills and confidence to live life without limits.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance & Payroll Officer to take ownership of our monthly payroll process and support the day-to-day running of our finance function. Working closely with the Finance Manager and HR team, you will ensure payroll is delivered accurately and on time, manage accounts payable activities, support month-end processes, and help maintain strong financial controls across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process
- Process supplier invoices and payment runs
- Complete reconciliations and month-end finance tasks
- Ensure compliance with payroll and HMRC requirements
- Support management reporting and audit activities
- Provide excellent support to colleagues across the organisation
About You:
You will have experience in payroll and finance administration, excellent attention to detail, and strong organisational skills. You'll be confident working to deadlines, using finance systems and Excel, and building positive working relationships with colleagues. Payroll and/or AAT qualifications are desirable but not essential.
