Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 4:30 (37.5 hours a week)

Job Summary – What To Expect

In this role you will provide support to the Shared Service Centre, and you will get involved in projects and communicate with people from all areas of the business to help improve processes. You will be rotating around different finance teams to give you a full understanding of different areas within finance. Rotations may include Finance, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Internal Controls.

On your Finance Placement in our EMEA Shared Services team, you will:

  • Support the Finance team across a range of tasks, including month-end reporting.
  • Support the Accounts Receivable team with various tasks.
  • Assist with SOX Compliance, including responding to Internal and External Audit requests and performing tasks to support compliance with the global Internal Control framework and policies.
  • Work flexibly to provide support across the Finance team where required.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Confident communication skills.
  • High level of computer literacy.
  • Experience of using Microsoft packages including Excel.
  • Good data handling skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to be a confident team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks with multiple deadlines.
  • Proactive approach.

Experience & Education

No experience necessary - just a keen interest in Finance, and to be studying for a Finance / Economics / Accounting or a Business-related degree, with plans to pursue a career in a related field.
