Optegra Finance Planning & Analysis Analyst Opportunity

Optegra has an exciting new job opportunity for an experienced Finance Planning & Analysis Analyst to join our amazing and dedicated finance team. The Role

The FP&A analyst is a new key role in order to manage all aspects of month end reporting and variance analysis with support from the Head of FP&A and Financial Accounts Manager

This role requires high integrity, good accounting discipline and excellent Excel and MS office skills to ensure effective, efficient and accurate reporting.

A key differentiator is explaining the numbers and variances to non financial stakeholders and creating relationships with key members of staff within the Business, to promote working together and World Class Service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring accuracy and communication consistently, professionally and in a timely manner
  • Ensuring all month end deadlines are met.
  • Weekly Business KPI reporting - issued to the Leadership team
  • Month End P&L reporting- potentially adding cash, capex and other key metrics as the reporting evolves over time
  • Cross charging for Hospital resources and time and materials costs
  • Preparation of FTE files for use by other FP&E team as basis of their analysis
  • Assistance with month end pack and presentation preparation
  • Procedures reporting and analytics by clinic
  • Revenue mix reporting
  • Other duties as required.

What You’ll Need

  • Must have Accounting Experience; ideally working in a quick paced business
  • Accounting/Finance qualification recently qualified or exceptional part- qualified candidate, with preference to one with higher qualification.
  • Minimum 2-3 Years of experience in accounting
  • Good motivation skills and negotiation skills.
  • Good Excel Skills
  • Power BI and AI/modelling skills highly desirable
  • HFM, Hyperion and SAP knowledge desirable.
  • Experience of working in a Shared Services Centre (SSC) environment.
