Finance & Processing Agent – Newcastle | Renowned Company
We are recruiting for a Finance & Processing Agent to join a leading financial services operation in Newcastle. This is an onsite opportunity with a minimum 6-month contract and potential for a permanent position following successful performance.
The Role
You will support customers with loan account enquiries while carrying out accurate financial processing, payments, reconciliations and account administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer loan documentation and payments.
- Complete financial and General Ledger reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies and queries.
- Maintain accurate customer and financial records.
- Handle customer enquiries professionally.
- Produce reports and reconciliation data.
- Support continuous improvement and team performance.

What We're Looking For
- Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
- Experience working with financial information and computer systems.
- Good problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Ability to follow processes and financial controls.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Previous financial services, banking, bookkeeping, accounting or contact centre experience is advantageous.
- Experience with Excel, reconciliations or accounting systems would be beneficial.

Job Details
- 📍 Location: Newcastle upon Tyne – Onsite
- 📅 Start Date: 28 September 2026
- ⏱️ Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- 📄 Contract: Minimum 6 months, with potential to go permanent
- 🔄 Shifts: Monday–Friday, between 8am–8pm, the actual shift could vary within that window depending on the rota.
