Finance & Procurement Coordinator – Media & Advertising – London – Hybrid – £40,000
We are seeking a superstar Finance & Procurement Coordinator to join a high-growth, media agency in the heart of London. Reporting directly to one of the Directors, this exciting position offers complete ownership of day-to-day finance and purchasing administration across a newly created department.
Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping & Account Management: Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, financial records, and maintain accurate financial data within accounting systems.
- Accounts Payable & Supplier Relations: Process and reconcile supplier invoices and purchase orders, manage supplier accounts, resolve invoice queries, and set up payments for approval.
- Bank Reconciliation & Cash Flow: Complete regular bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure precise financial tracking.
- Credit Control & VAT Returns: Support accounts receivable and credit control processes, while preparing and submitting timely VAT returns.
- Purchasing & External Liaison: Support overall day-to-day purchasing operations and liaise with external accountants as required.

Key Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting and bookkeeping experience, ideally with strong technical confidence in small-business environments.
- Experience using Odoo, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software, along with good Excel skills and the ability to learn new platforms quickly.
- A confident self-starter who can manage finance independently, create their own workflow, and support aggressive business growth.
- Excellent communication skills with an innovative mindset to improve current processes and think strategically.
- Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail to ensure seamless communication and follow-up across all suppliers and internal teams.
