About This Role

Are you a Finance Projects Analyst, Finance Analyst, Assistant Accountant or Management Accountant looking for a role where your finance knowledge can help shape real business change? As a Finance Projects Analyst at Dawsongroup, you will support finance transformation and ERP implementation projects, working across testing, data validation, process design and system deployment.

  • Act as a finance representative throughout ERP testing and implementation activities.
  • Execute and refine UAT scripts across end-to-end finance processes, including P2P, O2C, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Forecasting and Financial Reporting.
  • Validate transactions, controls, workflows, approvals and reporting requirements, making sure finance processes are accurately configured.
  • Support data migration, reconciliation and investigation of discrepancies, helping resolve issues before go-live.

About You

You will bring practical finance experience, a good understanding of accounting principles and the curiosity to understand how systems and processes work together. We are looking for someone analytical, organised and comfortable working with different teams, but you do not need to tick every box to be considered.

  • Experience in a finance role such as Assistant Accountant, Management Accountant, Finance Analyst or a similar position.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and confidence working with Excel and ERP systems.
  • A sound understanding of financial controls and finance processes such as Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, General Ledger, Fixed Assets and Management Accounting.
  • Experience of ERP implementation, finance transformation or UAT would be useful, as would exposure to Dynamics 365 or a similar ERP system.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
