Job Introduction

Finance Project Manager

12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE

Hybrid – Folkestone / Home

Are you an experienced Project Manager who thrives on delivering complex business and systems change projects?

We're looking for a Project Manager to join Saga on a 12-month fixed-term contract, playing a key role in delivering a portfolio of transformation projects that will shape the future of one of our core business functions.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile change initiatives, from enterprise system enhancements and business process improvements through to wider transformation programmes. You'll work with senior stakeholders across Finance, Technology and the wider business, bringing teams together to deliver projects that improve ways of working, strengthen business capabilities and create lasting value.

Whether your background is in Finance, Technology, Digital or wider Business Transformation, if you've successfully delivered complex system implementation or transformation projects, we'd love to hear from you.

Role Responsibility

As Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading projects from initiation through to delivery, ensuring agreed scope, timescales, budgets and business outcomes are achieved.

Working with cross-functional teams, you'll build strong relationships with business stakeholders, technical specialists and third-party suppliers to keep projects moving forward whilst proactively managing risks, dependencies and governance.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading end-to-end delivery of business and systems change projects.
  • Creating and maintaining project plans, governance documentation, RAID logs and status reporting.
  • Managing project scope, risks, issues, dependencies and budgets.
  • Coordinating internal teams, external suppliers and delivery partners.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across business and technology functions.
  • Supporting business change and user adoption throughout project delivery.
  • Preparing steering committee papers, executive updates and project reporting.
  • Driving continuous improvement and ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered within agreed governance frameworks and quality expectations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Initially, you'll focus on a major enterprise systems programme, before supporting a broader portfolio of transformation initiatives across the business.

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for an organised and collaborative Project Manager who enjoys bringing people together and delivering successful change.

You'll be confident managing multiple stakeholders, navigating competing priorities and driving projects through to completion in a fast-paced environment.

You'll have:

  • Proven experience delivering business or systems transformation projects.
  • Experience managing software implementations, upgrades or business change programmes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong project planning, governance, risk and budget management experience.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and third-party suppliers.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high delivery standards.
  • A recognised Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, AgilePM or equivalent.

We'd particularly like to hear from candidates with experience of enterprise systems such as:

  • Workday
  • Oracle
  • SAP
  • Microsoft Dynamics
  • Unit4
  • Coupa
  • Adaptive Planning
  • Other ERP or enterprise business systems

Experience within Finance, Technology, Digital Transformation or other regulated industries would be advantageous, but isn't essential. We're far more interested in your ability to deliver successful projects and build strong relationships across a business.
