Job Description

As a Finance Project Manager, you will be responsible for financial operations of multiple entities in the EU region & Egypt. This pivotal role encompasses managing financial reporting, budget planning, tax compliance, auditing, and internal controls. We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, global setting, ensuring seamless financial processes and compliance across borders.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & General Accounting

  • Be responsible for the full cycle of general accounting functions including but not limited to accounts payable, employee reimbursement, procurement cycle, fixed asset management, and payment processing through the ERP system.
  • Perform monthly/quarterly closing and reporting activities. Be able to reconcile general ledger accounts and maintain reconciliation with audit-ready documentation.

Tax & Audit Compliance

  • Prepare, review, and submit statutory tax filings for the respective regions in strict adherence to local laws and regulations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for both internal and external auditors. Provide necessary documentation, explanations, and support to ensure smooth audit processes and tax compliance assurance.

Financial Reporting & Management

  • Prepare the financial reporting package, OPEX analysis, and various management review reports.
  • Develop and implement process enhancements of accounting policies & procedures to ensure compliance with internal control. Coordinate global projects roll-out and implementation of user training.

Main Requirements and Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Experienced in Finance/Accounting with a proven track record of managing complex financial operations/projects.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. SAP preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams globally. Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
  • Experience in a multinational company with HQ overseas.
