As a Finance Projects Analyst

You'll support key finance transformation, governance, and operational excellence initiatives across Group Functions Finance. Working with stakeholders around the Group, you'll provide data-driven insights, project coordination, and process improvement support to deliver meaningful change, enhance ways of working, and increase efficiency across the Finance function.

What's the job?

  • Deliver analytical support across finance transformation, operational excellence, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Analyse financial and operational data, providing insights and recommendations to support project delivery and decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain project tracking, reporting, and dashboards to monitor progress, milestones, and outcomes for senior stakeholders.
  • Support finance governance, controls, and approval frameworks, ensuring effective and compliant processes.
  • Act as a key link between Finance, Procurement, Shared Services (GBS), and business stakeholders, coordinating workshops, communications, and project activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and finance performance, while supporting and deputising for the Senior Operational Finance Manager - Projects when required.

What you'll bring

  • Finance experience with a recognised accounting qualification (or working towards one), supported by strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Advanced Excel expertise, with experience managing large datasets and producing meaningful insights.
  • Competent Power BI user with the ability to develop reporting and performance dashboards.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, confident presenting to a range of audiences.
  • Experience within a GNFR or financial control environment is advantageous; French language skills are beneficial but not essential.
