🍋 FINANCE & PURCHASING MANAGER | £40,000 | HYBRID / REMOTE
We’re looking for a Finance & Purchasing Manager/ Coordinator to join a fast-growing, ambitious media agency and take ownership of an exciting new finance and purchasing function.
This is a broad, hands-on opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys working independently, improving processes and playing a key role in a growing business. Working closely with the directors, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day finance, bookkeeping, purchasing and supplier management across the business.
The role
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial records
- Process and reconcile supplier invoices and purchase orders
- Manage supplier accounts and resolve invoice queries
- Set up supplier payments for approval
- Complete bank and credit card reconciliations
- Support accounts receivable and credit control
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Maintain accurate financial information within accounting systems
- Support purchasing and supplier management
- Liaise with external accountants when required
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working

What we’re looking for
- 5+ years’ accounting and bookkeeping experience
- Strong bookkeeping and accounts knowledge
- Experience managing finance independently within a small business
- Experience with Odoo, QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Confident managing suppliers, invoices and purchasing
- Strong Excel and technical skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Comfortable creating and managing your own workflow
- A natural communicator with a practical, problem-solving approach
