About the job

Due to our continued success and ambitious growth plans, SystemsAccountants is hiring a Finance Transformation Recruiter to join our specialist team. This role will focus on delivering recruitment and business development across Finance Transformation, ERP, and financial systems markets, supporting our clients and candidates through periods of change.

Role Objectives:

Our specialist focus allows us to act as a trusted advisor, building long-term relationships rather than relying on transactional activity. The Finance Transformation Recruiter will operate a full 360 recruitment desk, combining business development, client account management and candidate engagement to deliver measurable financial outcomes for the business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Increase revenue and margin within the Finance Transformation market and contribute to the profitable growth of the wider business.
  • Source, attract and place candidates across roles including Finance Transformation Programme Leads, ERP Functional and Technical Consultants, Finance Systems Analysts, Change Managers and Project Delivery resources.
  • Build, manage and develop client relationships; deliver account-based selling to increase existing client spend through cross-sell and up-sell activity.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes: requirement gathering, search and selection, interviewing, offer negotiation and on-boarding support.
  • Act as a market specialist—acquire and share insight on supplier landscapes, candidate availability, emerging technologies and transformation trends to inform clients and internal colleagues.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of Finance & IT professionals; be a knowledge broker and connector delivering added value beyond the transaction.
  • Produce and deliver targeted marketing and candidate engagement material to support business development and branding in your market.
  • Attend and represent the business at client meetings, industry events and networking activities to grow your professional network and pipeline.
  • Consistently meet personal and team revenue targets while maintaining high standards of professionalism and candidate care.

Person specification / skills and experience:

  • Proven recruitment experience in Finance Transformation, ERP or financial systems markets; previous 360 desk or agency experience preferred.
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience of account management and business development.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to influence hiring managers and candidates at all levels.
  • Confident in sourcing across multiple channels and skilled in interview and assessment techniques.
  • Good organisational skills, able to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of finance systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday, OneStream, NetSuite) and experience placing candidates in these ecosystems is advantageous.
  • Ambitious, resilient and self-motivated with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
