Income Auditor / Internal Auditor / Finance Risks & Controls (FRC) Supervisor
Do you have a keen analytical eye, and the gravitas to influence financial and operational policy at London’s most iconic 5-star hotel?
We are offering a wonderful opportunity to join our Finance department as a Finance Risks & Controls (FRC) Supervisor here at Shangri-La The Shard, London. Our FRC Supervisor will maintain procedures necessary to verify the accuracy of all revenue and key performance metrics reported in the daily revenue report. Responsibilities will include adjustment postings, investigation of complimentary rooms, market code statistic reports, accounting for vouchers, house checks, room rate variances, packages, discounts, and reconciliation of PMS, POS, and finance systems. You will review departmental incentives, and lead monthly meetings with hotel operations to identify opportunities and action profit-protection plans.
You will be responsible for overseeing the operational cash controls of the hotel and for managing the General Cashier, while supporting the core finance team with month-end reporting requirements. You will also manage a key relationship with the Shangri-La Regional Compliance team to ensure local compliance with monthly finance key controls checklist requirements.

Who We’re Looking For
A team player with the confidence, gravitas, and humour to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders
- Finance degree / qualification, or desire to study
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Opera, Infrasys
- Experience in a similar role (Income Auditor / Internal Auditor) essential
- Experience in meeting expectations in fast-paced luxury hospitality
- Flexibility, reliability, and adaptability
- Oral and written professional fluency in English
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
