Transaction Coordinator

Salary: Competitive

Location: Leeds or Manchester

Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Hours: Full-time

Overview

Our client, an international law firm, is seeking a Transaction Coordinator to manage the day-to-day delivery of finance and property transactions from instruction through to post-completion.

You will act as a central point of contact for clients, internal teams, and third parties, coordinating multiple transactions, monitoring progress, and ensuring actions and deliverables are completed on time. The work includes socially focused finance and property matters, including affordable housing, sustainability-linked funding, and decarbonisation projects.

  • Manage the non-legal aspects of multiple finance and property transactions from instruction to post-completion.
  • Track transaction progress, deadlines, actions, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to keep matters progressing.
  • Support fee earners with standard and ancillary documentation and transaction updates.
  • Maintain clear responsibilities and action plans throughout each transaction.
  • Act as a key client and third-party contact, providing proactive and responsive service.
  • Manage competing priorities and help resolve issues affecting transaction delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience in a comparable client-facing role within professional services, financial services, or legal services.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple transactions or projects simultaneously, including to tight deadlines.
  • Proven stakeholder management experience with internal and external contacts at different levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and adapt when managing competing requirements.
  • Competence with IT and document management tools.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
