About the Opportunity
Mercor is partnering with leading AI research organizations to engage experienced Finance Experts in evaluating and improving next-generation AI systems. In this role, you will apply your professional finance expertise to assess AI-generated work products, including presentations, spreadsheets, financial analyses, reports, and business documents. This opportunity is ideal for finance professionals with substantial experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, investment management, banking, accounting, valuation, financial planning, risk management, or related disciplines. You will evaluate the quality, accuracy, usability, and presentation of AI-generated outputs while providing detailed expert feedback to improve model performance. The work is fully remote, flexible, and focused on real-world finance applications. No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate AI-generated financial presentations, spreadsheets, reports, and business documents.
- Assess outputs for financial accuracy, logical reasoning, usability, completeness, and professional quality.
- Identify factual errors, calculation mistakes, inconsistencies, and unsupported conclusions.
- Evaluate financial analyses, forecasts, models, recommendations, and supporting documentation.
- Review presentation structure, formatting, visual communication, and overall effectiveness.
- Provide clear, structured written feedback explaining strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Apply professional finance judgment to determine whether outputs meet real-world industry standards.
- Assess both technical financial accuracy and business communication quality.
- Contribute expert insights that improve AI performance in finance-related tasks.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in Finance at a leading organization within the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.
- Native or professional-level English proficiency.
- Strong expertise in finance, financial analysis, accounting, banking, investments, corporate finance, FP&A, wealth management, risk management, or related fields.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace tools.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written communication and feedback-writing abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage deliverables in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree, MBA, CFA, CPA, or other advanced finance-related qualification.
- Experience creating, reviewing, or presenting executive-level financial materials.
- Background in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, asset management, consulting, accounting, or financial planning.
- Experience evaluating financial models, valuation analyses, forecasts, or strategic business recommendations.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows, analytics platforms, or financial technology tools.

Compensation

- Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise
