What we are building at Conveo
Conveo is the AI research platform enabling fast, affordable, and high-quality consumer / B2B research. Global brands use our AI video interviewer to generate insights across marketing, product, and research teams.
What problem are we solving and why is this an important problem to solve
The current/traditional research methods companies rely on are slow, expensive, and superficial, thereby limiting the quantity and quality of research companies can conduct. Running great research also requires expertise which is a blocker to many companies. That directly affects how well companies understand their customers and how well they can serve them.
The team you will join
You will join an extremely talented team of incredibly passionate, high-energy people. We go the extra mile while having the best time of our lives. Our team has the combination of decades of market research knowledge, incredible engineering ability, and experience building companies.
How we operate
We truly care about our clients and the problem we solve. That means we humbly go the extra mile every time.
We work hard and we have fun.
To keep our quality bar incredibly high, we want to execute with the smallest possible team.
About the Role
We are winning Fortune 500 clients at warp speed while expanding internationally and growing our team.
As Finance & Strategy Associate, you will work directly with the founders and leadership on the numbers behind every major decision — combining hands-on financial operations with the strategic analyses that shape how Conveo scales through Series B and beyond.
In this role, you'll start by being the operator and guardian of Conveo’s financials, work directly with founders and leadership across all divisions, and drive the discussions for every significant call on capital, revenue and expenses, hiring, and growth. In other words, you will be Conveo’s architect that knows every figure of Conveo’s financials.
This role is for a generalist willing to drive financial and strategic decision-making — someone who moves comfortably between owning the numbers and shaping the decisions behind them.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
The early months will be predominantly finance-focused whilst operating, building, and scaling the finance function and reporting directly to the CFO. However, the role also has potential to focus more pure strategic aspects. How much you lean into broader strategy and GTM work over time will depend on business needs as well as your own aspirations and capabilities.
Your Mission
- Make Conveo’s finance function bullet-proof for hypergrowth:
- Financial architecture — bring structure and scalability to the finance function: design, implement, and optimise the financial systems (e.g. ERP setup, expense controls, tools optimisation), processes, and internal controls that take Conveo from 70 to 200+ people
- Cash & runway mastery — give the company and investors real-time clarity on cash burn and liquidity management, enabling fast and confident decision-making
- Finance operations — manage and optimise A/R & A/P, compliance, transfer pricing, VAT, and set up of financial budgets
- Financial strategy & planning — financial models, hiring plan, scenario analyses, KPI tracking and monitoring
- Accounting — coordinate with accountants to close and consolidate the books across our US, UK, and BE entities
- Investor & board reporting — own financial reporting for investors, support in future fundraising, and build financial credibility that unlocks Series B
- Business orchestration — ESOP & commission plans, pricing, deal economics, capital allocation
- Fundraising — Series B preparation, subsidies, financial due diligence, additional ways of financing
- Research markets and competitors — map new verticals, analyse competitor positioning, identify ICP patterns, and surface insights that sharpen our strategy
- Support sales enablement — build battlecards, vertical-specific messaging, and materials/tools that help the sales team win
