Strategic Finance Lead | 6-Month FTC
Location: London
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days in the office
A PE-backed premium retail business is looking for a Strategic Finance Lead to support a major five-year growth strategy.
This is a high-impact six-month contract, working directly with the Commercial Finance Director, with regular exposure to the CFO. You’ll build the financial models underpinning the strategy, work closely with senior stakeholders, and turn complex analysis into clear commercial recommendations.

- Build financial models across retail, online and operations
- Model store growth, e-commerce performance and warehouse capacity
- Partner with Retail, Digital and Operations leadership teams
- Gather and interpret data to support strategic decisions
- Translate complex analysis into clear strategic messages
- Present findings to the Commercial FD and CFO
- Support wider commercial finance and ad hoc analysis
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified accountant or strong finance background
- Commercial Finance or FP&A experience
- Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills
- Comfortable extracting and working with data independently
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
- Able to simplify complex information for senior stakeholders
- Confident business partner with excellent communication skills
- Self-starter who enjoys working across different functions
