About Us
We are a high-performance Formula One Team driven by innovation, precision, and passion. Our Finance team plays a vital role in supporting the business and racing operations by providing accurate financial information, robust controls, and insightful analysis that helps drive informed decision-making. As a Finance Student Placement, you'll gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, high-performance environment, contributing to the financial processes that support success both on and off the track.
The Role
During the placement, you'll support the Finance team across a variety of accounting, reporting, and analysis activities. Working alongside experienced finance professionals, you'll gain exposure to financial operations within Formula One, helping to ensure accurate reporting, effective budget management, and continuous improvement of financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports, analysis, and reconciliations
- Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity within finance systems
- Assist with purchase invoice processing, supplier payments, and expense management
- Support budget monitoring and cost analysis activities across departments
- Contribute to financial planning, forecasting, and reporting activities
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to provide financial support and insight
- Participate in departmental projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Who We're Looking For
- Currently studying a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Accounting & Finance, or a related discipline and seeking an industry placement during your penultimate year of university
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and continuously improve
- An interest in financial analysis, accounting principles, business performance, and commercial decision-making
- You must have the right to work in the UK, as we cannot provide sponsorship for this role
