We're excited to be partnering with a successful and expanding multi-site retail business in the search for a Finance Supervisor to join their growing finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys a varied role, combining day-to-day financial management with team supervision and stakeholder engagement within a fast-paced commercial environment.

As Finance Supervisor, you will take ownership of key financial processes across multiple sites, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. You'll work closely with both finance and operational teams, providing valuable support and insight to help drive business performance.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising daily finance operations and supporting junior finance team members
  • Managing accounts receivable processes, credit control activities, and customer account queries
  • Overseeing billing and ensuring accurate and timely invoicing across the business
  • Preparing and reviewing accruals and prepayments as part of the month-end process
  • Assisting with management accounts preparation and financial reporting
  • Ensuring VAT returns are completed accurately and submitted within required deadlines
  • Performing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining strong financial controls
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities
  • Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and operational efficiencies

We're keen to speak with candidates who have worked previously in a Finance Supervisor, Senior Accounts, or similar finance role. Candidates who have experience or an understanding of a multi-site retail, hospitality, leisure, or consumer-facing business which is currently going through a period of growth are encouraged to apply. Candidates who are AAT qualified, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA, or qualified by experience will be considered.
