Finance Systems Analyst - Oracle EPM

Permanent opportunity
Location: London - hybrid working

SystemsAccountants is partnering with an international organisation to recruit a Finance Systems Administrator into a growing Finance Systems team.

This is a great opportunity for an Oracle EPM professional looking to take the next step in their career and broaden their experience across planning, forecasting, reporting, and consolidation. You'll work closely with the Finance Systems Manager, finance stakeholders, and technology partners, taking a hands-on role in supporting and developing the Oracle EPM environment.

Position overview:

  • Administer and develop the Oracle EPM environment, supporting Planning/PBCS and FCCS
  • Manage system configuration, metadata, dimensions, hierarchies, security, and user access
  • Deliver system enhancements and translate finance requirements into effective EPM solutions
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and group consolidation processes
  • Troubleshoot system issues, investigate root causes, and deliver solutions
  • Develop and maintain business rules, calculations, and, where applicable, Groovy scripts
  • Support forms, reports, dashboards, Smart View, and other EPM functionality
  • Manage integrations, data validation, reconciliation, and system performance
  • Support upgrades, releases, testing, and the introduction of new functionality
  • Work with finance stakeholders to understand requirements and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Provide user support, training, and documentation
  • Work with third-party consultants and technology partners on enhancements and projects
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and roadmap of the wider finance systems landscape

Required experience:

Whether your experience is in Oracle PBCS/Planning or Oracle FCCS/Consolidation, please get in touch. The key requirement is a solid background in Oracle EPM and the enthusiasm to broaden your skill set.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience as a Finance Systems Analyst, Finance Systems Administrator, or similar
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle PBCS/Planning or FCCS
  • An understanding of core finance processes and ERP systems
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work effectively with finance and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams

If you're currently working with PBCS and want to develop your FCCS knowledge, or you're an FCCS professional looking to broaden into Planning, this could be an excellent opportunity to do both.
