Finance Systems Consultant – 6-Month FTC
London | Hybrid

We’re looking for an experienced Finance Systems Consultant to join a growing Technology team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on role focused on the smooth running, optimisation and delivery of financial systems, alongside supporting a range of transformation and integration projects.

You’ll work closely with Finance, Technology and Transformation teams, acting as a key bridge between business requirements and technical solutions.

The Role

  • Lead the continuous improvement and optimisation of finance systems and reporting capabilities.
  • Manage system configuration, enhancements, upgrades and integrations.
  • Gather requirements and translate complex finance processes into effective system solutions.
  • Support the design, implementation and testing of Finance Technology projects, including UAT.
  • Manage and oversee third-party technology partners and delivery suppliers.
  • Provide 2nd-line support, including incident/problem management, month-end and year-end processes.
  • Manage system access, maintenance, releases and the transition of new solutions into BAU.
  • Work across a hybrid environment of on-premise and cloud-based finance applications.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
