Finance Systems Developer –.NET / SQL

Glasgow – Hybrid (1–2 days per week)

VIQU have partnered with a leading professional services organisation, who are looking for a Finance Systems Developer to join their Digital Practice Solutions team. The successful Finance Systems Developer will work across core practice management and finance systems, combining development, enhancements and integrations with higher-level technical support. The role will primarily work across Elite 3E and Intapp, however, previous Elite 3E experience is not essential, with the organisation open to candidates with strong Microsoft development and SQL experience who can cross-train into the platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance and maintain core finance and practice management applications.
  • Deliver new functionality, integrations, upgrades and technical improvements across the application estate.
  • Take ownership across the full development lifecycle, from requirements and technical design through to development, testing, release and ongoing support.
  • Provide 3rd-line support for complex application and database issues.
  • Work closely with business users, Business Analysts, Technical Architects and external consultants to deliver effective technical solutions.

Key Experience Required

  • Strong development experience across the Microsoft technology stack, with.NET experience including C# and/or VB.NET.
  • Strong SQL / SQL Server development skills and experience working with complex databases.
  • Experience developing, enhancing and supporting complex enterprise or business-critical applications.
  • Experience with application integrations, APIs or web services.
  • XML technologies, including XSLT and XPath, would be highly advantageous.
  • Elite 3E, Intapp or comparable finance/practice management system experience would be beneficial, but is not essential.
  • Legal, professional services or wider financial systems experience would be advantageous.
