We are a global marketing activation partner that connects brands to their customers and delivers sustainable marketing execution at scale.

With over 4,000 colleagues across more than 55 countries, you’ll join a diverse, high-performing community, empowered to deliver sustainable, innovative solutions for our clients.

Purpose of the job

As Finance Systems Integration Manager you will be accountable for the functional and process leadership of SAP Business One (SAP B1) integrations across the global Finance Systems landscape.

The role translates finance process requirements into clear integration designs, coordinates internal and external developers, supports testing and release readiness, and ensures integration changes are controlled, documented and supportable.

You'll reduce dependency on individual subject-matter expertise by building a sustainable integration delivery model: clear ownership, shared developer knowledge, documented support procedures, standardized handovers and controlled escalation from FIS Support.

This role operates largely remote within the UK.

Key responsibilities

  • Line manage, coach and prioritize the work of a small team of developers and one infrastructure engineer, ensuring workload balance, delivery discipline, knowledge sharing and professional development
  • Own the functional and process solutioning for SAP Business One integrations with internal and external systems, ensuring changes are viable, scalable, supportable and aligned with global finance process standards
  • Lead discovery and impact assessment for new integrations, enhancements and defect driven changes, identifying SAP B1 implications, finance process impacts, data dependencies, infrastructure considerations, controls and downstream reporting/accounting consequences
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, integration requirements, process flows, acceptance criteria, test scenarios and handover documentation for developers, infrastructure resources, external partners and vendors
  • Coordinate internal developers, the infrastructure engineer and external partners through design, build, SIT, UAT, release planning, cutover and hypercare
  • Act as the Finance Systems integration subject matter expert for SAP B1 connected services such as Hub, Noosh, Tipalti, Tungsten, Concur, Blackline, journaling services, tax payloads, reporting/data warehouse feeds and others
  • Partner with FIS Support so BAU incidents are handled through the support front door, while complex integration escalations are analysed for root cause, permanent fix, prevention and knowledge transfer
  • Partner with the FIS Senior Project Manager on project intake, roadmap planning and release governance where an item has integration impact, providing sizing input, dependency analysis and delivery risk assessment
  • Partner with the ERP FIS Manager and functional consultants on system accounting implications, SAP B1 process design and control considerations for upstream or downstream finance changes
  • Set and maintain integration documentation standards, including functional overview documents, solution notes, payload/process mappings, known error playbooks, operational runbooks and release handover packs
  • Manage external vendor and partner alignment for integration changes, ensuring statements of work, estimates, dependencies, assumptions, issue resolution and delivery dates are credible and actively managed
  • Drive continuous improvement in integration ownership by reducing bottlenecks, cross training developers, improving documentation, strengthening monitoring and embedding repeatable delivery practices
  • Ensure all integration changes follow change control, auditability, segregation of duties, release governance and production stability expectations for global finance systems

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
