Description
We are seeking a proactive and technically capable Finance Systems Lead to take ownership of our NetSuite Financials platform and play a key role in the ongoing development of our finance systems. This role combines financial accounting expertise with finance systems administration, supporting the delivery of automation, process improvements, robust financial controls and high-quality management reporting.
Working closely with the Finance, IT and operational teams, you will help optimise our finance systems, improve data quality and governance, and ensure our systems continue to support the organisation's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the finance systems expert for NetSuite Financials and reporting.
- Lead finance systems projects from planning through to implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet business requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to automate finance processes, streamline workflows and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring financial data is accurate, complete and compliant.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and best practice across the finance function.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes through effective system utilisation.
- Ensure the integrity, security and governance of financial data across all finance systems.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing accurate financial records, reports and system documentation.
- Manage finance system user access, permissions and workflows.
- Deliver training, guidance and ongoing support to finance system users across the business.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential
- Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience using NetSuite ERP within a finance environment.
- Previous experience within a Finance Team
- Strong understanding of financial accounting, management accounting and financial controls.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across Finance, IT and operational teams.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of reporting and business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
- Experience supervising, mentoring or managing a junior member of a finance team.
