About Civica

We’re Civica and we make software that helps deliver critical services for citizens all around the world. From local to state government, to education, to health and care, over 5,000 public bodies across the globe use our software to help provide critical services to over 100 million citizens.

Our aspiration is to be a GovTech champion everywhere we work around the globe, supporting the needs of citizens and those that serve them every day. Building on 21 years of continuous growth and success, we're at a pivotal point on our journey to realise that aspiration.

Why You Will Love This Opportunity

We're looking for a Finance Systems Manager to join our FP&A team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our finance systems landscape. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, this role will lead the ongoing development and optimisation of our revenue planning capabilities within Workday Adaptive Planning, ensuring strong alignment between bookings, ARR and revenue forecasting.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on finance systems professional who enjoys solving complex challenges, driving finance transformation and partnering with stakeholders across the business to deliver scalable, data-driven planning solutions. You'll have the opportunity to influence how financial planning is delivered across Civica, helping to improve efficiency, accuracy and decision-making at scale.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the revenue planning model within Workday Adaptive Planning, ensuring alignment between bookings, ARR and revenue forecasts.
  • Lead the ongoing development and enhancement of Civica's BTR solution, translating business requirements into system improvements and functional enhancements.
  • Act as the business owner for the Adaptive revenue model, maintaining governance over forecasting assumptions, calculation methodologies, dimensional structures and reporting outputs.
  • Drive data integrity across revenue planning processes through reconciliation, validation, issue resolution and root-cause analysis.
  • Partner with FP&A, Finance and Technology teams to optimise planning processes and support strategic business objectives.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that increase automation, auditability and scalability while reducing manual processes and spreadsheet dependency.
  • Manage third-party partners and coordinate testing, deployment and user adoption activities.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for the BTR model, providing training, support and best-practice guidance to users across Finance.
  • Support wider finance transformation initiatives, including systems integration, scenario modelling, forecasting enhancements and predictive planning capabilities.
  • Provide trusted advice to senior stakeholders on delivery priorities, governance, risk management and system optimisation opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
