Finance & Tax Business Partner

Are you an experienced finance professional with strong expertise in accounting, tax compliance and business partnering? DP World is looking for a Finance & Tax Business Partner to join our Regional Office team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee intercompany finance activities, working capital management, tax compliance, and finance systems governance while supporting multiple stakeholders across the business.
About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Director Tax and Accounting UK, you will play a critical role in managing intercompany transactions, cash flow planning, Oracle ERP processes and specialist tax activities. You'll collaborate with teams across Finance, Tax, Procurement, Treasury and Shared Services to drive financial control, compliance and continuous improvement.
How You Will Contribute
- Manage the end-to-end intercompany invoicing, settlement and reconciliation process across multiple business units.
- Lead working capital monitoring, funding planning and cash flow forecasting activities.
- Review and challenge procurement transactions to ensure compliance with budgets, policies and accounting standards.
- Act as a key finance systems resource, supporting Oracle ERP issue resolution, testing and process improvements.
- Support corporation tax compliance, tax provisioning and statutory reporting activities.
- Own VAT compliance processes, including VAT returns, reconciliations and HMRC submissions.
- Manage employment tax activities, including PAYE Settlement Agreements and employee benefit assessments.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to resolve finance, tax and systems queries.
- Drive automation, reporting enhancement and continuous improvement initiatives across finance and tax operations.
- Strengthen financial controls and improve the accuracy and quality of financial information and reporting.

What You Will Bring
- Significant experience in finance, tax, accounting or shared services within a multinational organisation.
- Strong knowledge of intercompany accounting, working capital management and financial controls.
- Experience of VAT, corporation tax compliance and employment tax reporting requirements.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience managing large and complex datasets.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working across multiple functions and jurisdictions.

Desirable
- Professional accounting or tax qualification.
- Experience with Oracle ERP or similar enterprise finance systems.
- Knowledge of transfer pricing principles.
- Experience supporting HMRC audits and compliance reviews.
- Shared service centre or regional hub experience.
