Finance & Team Assistant West End | High-End Corporate / Investment Environment
We are working with a highly successful, discreet financial services business looking for an intelligent, polished and personable Finance & Team Assistant to join a high-performing team in their stunning West End offices.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with around 2+ years’ experience in a similar administrative, finance support or team assistant position, ideally gained within a large corporate, private equity, investment banking, hedge fund or other professional financial services environment.
The successful candidate will be degree educated, numerate, highly organised and genuinely interested in how a finance function operates. Just as importantly, they will be someone who is pleasant, approachable and easy to work with, with the confidence to build strong relationships while knowing when the team needs to be heads-down and focused.
The Role
Working closely with the Finance team and alongside experienced assistants across the wider business, you will provide a blend of finance, administrative and team support, gaining excellent exposure to the inner workings of a sophisticated financial organisation.
The environment is ambitious and high-performing, but also genuinely collaborative. There are periods where everyone is heads-down and focused on getting the detail right, balanced with a sociable culture where people enjoy working together.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality administrative and finance support to the Finance team
- Assist with financial records, data and general finance processes
- Maintain a high level of accuracy when working with numerical and financial information
- Assist with reporting, spreadsheets and financial administration
- Coordinate information and liaise with colleagues across the business
- Work closely with other assistants to ensure the wider team operates efficiently
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail
- Support process improvements and identify opportunities to work more efficiently
- Embrace new technology, including AI-enabled tools and systems
- Handle confidential and commercially sensitive information with absolute discretion
- Take on additional responsibilities as your knowledge and confidence develop
Requirements
We are looking for someone who is bright, switched-on and naturally organised, with a genuine interest in finance and a desire to develop their career within a sophisticated financial environment. You will ideally have:
- 2+ years' experience in a similar administrative, Finance Assistant or team support role, preferably within financial services or a large corporate environment
- A degree or equivalent academic background
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when dealing with numerical data and financial records
- A genuine interest in numbers and financial processes
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The confidence to collaborate effectively with people at all levels
- A flexible and adaptable attitude, with an appetite to learn
- An enthusiasm for technology, AI and continuous process improvement
- The discretion and professionalism required when handling sensitive financial information
